ABOUT HOLTON how network marketing changed my life…

Some look at my success today and feel that I must have been lucky or born into what I have. However, I still clearly remember growing up as a child in the Ponce De Leon projects in Tampa, Florida, watching my mother work multiple jobs to take care of me. Just like many children of single parent households I was dropped off at daycare run by the neighborhood baby sitter.

During those days the only qualifications for someone to have a daycare were a roof, electricity and food. There were no special educational, sanitary, or student to teacher ratio guidelines like today. The lady who kept me had a high school level education and earned less than $1500 a month. She was a good person, but given the fact that I learned more about who died and came back to life on all the popular soap operas, rather than how to count, read, or write, she wasn’t the most ideal person to be watching children at the beginning of their learning years.

But my mother had to do what she had to do. Even though she knew I wasn’t in the best environment, she’d always uplift me by telling me. As a result, instead of taking the sitter’s words at the daycare and growing up to be a big chicken in the coop, I decided to take my mother’s words and create a way to soar like an Eagle.

Environment is everything, so in school I created an environment for me to be a provider. When I was 14 years old I cut hair to make money, then got tired of doing all the work myself and discovered leverage by buying candy in bulk and recruiting people to sell it for me. One of the 12 people I recruited was Earlene Lilly, who is now Earlene Buggs, my wife and best friend.

Four Principles of Network Marketing

Principle #1 – Picture Your Success

In life you don’t get what you want, you only get what you picture.

Your dreams are the catalyst to your success in Network Marketing; they provide the pictures for your success. When you start to picture yourself living your dreams you will start attracting it minute by minute & your subconscious mind will find a way to make that dream a reality. Life & death is in the power of the tongue - the words you speak are directly connected to the pictures you see.

Principle #2 – Find Out What You Are Willing to Give Up to Get What You Want

The deposit is first, the withdrawal comes later. You have to decide what you're willing to give up temporarily to get what you picture. …success is not easy or convenient. However… success is very simple to obtain.

It’s not easy to build Network Marketing business, but it is SIMPLE. Everything in life is about giving & receiving, if you sow sparingly you will reap sparingly. If you give a lot you’ll get a lot – simple!

Principle #3 – Pick a Champion & Mentor

My grandfather told me when I was 8 years old: “Son, if you ever want to become successful in life, find someone who’s done what it is you want to do & duplicate them.”

That’s a principle that I live by even to this day. Find someone who's been there, done what you are looking to do and who is willing to teach you how to do the same thing. Follow the path they are going to set for you. Success is much more obtainable when you have someone who is more experienced than you are and who has accepted personal responsibility for your success in life.

Find out who in your company has the money & lifestyle you want, & build a relationship with them. Based on who they are they may or may not be personally accessible to you, but you can still be mentored by them, just from a far. Whenever you see them talking either in a crowd or on stage always be prepared with your notepad & recorder, they are the simplest & priceless tools that will make you millions.

Principle #4 – Vision

Without vision, people will perish by replaying their pasts, with all its failures. Earlene and I live a principle based life, with a definitiveness of purpose and vision to positively impact the lives of 100 Million people personally, professionally, spiritually and financially.
